Seasonal Special: the Fig & Goat Cheese Salad
We're still not crazy about the name but this salad is one of the best we've
put together yet. Grilled chicken, sliced pears, toasted walnuts, goat cheese,
diced dried figs, and red onions on a bed of leaf lettuce and served with all
brand-new homemade sweet fig vinegarette. Come in and get it while you can
because it won't be here for long.

New Gluten-free desserts
Kaitlin has been tinkering with gluten-free baking and what she's coming
up with has been pretty impressive; gluten-free muffins, cupcakes, blondies, brownies
and all sorts of new flavors. She's presenting a new special dessert each week.

New Betty
Zingo's is honoring local legend, Betty Timko this January and February
with our take on her famous Betty's Salad. Ripe tomato,
red onion, bean sprouts, fresh-sliced mushrooms, toasted
pine nuts, chunks of grilled gyro on a bed of spicy arugula,
and leaf lettuce, with our homemade sweet and tangy tomato
dressing.

Holiday Vacation
It was a fun year here at Zingo's so now as 2010 draws
to a close, we at Zingo's are going to be taking a well
deserved break to catch our breath. Zingo's will be closed
Christmas Eve, Chrismas Day, New Years Eve and New Years
Day. Happy holidays!

Zingo's Wins Best Booth
After four years of trying our hardest, all of our effort
finally payed off when the judges of the Zoo-to-do presented
us with the Best Booth Award for the 2010 Zoo-to-do. Thanks
to the organizers and the zoo staff. In spite of the violent
thunder storm, this year was a lot of fun.

New website up!
Well, we began working on the new site over two years ago but with all of the curveballs life throws, we weren't able to bring it out as soon as we might have wanted. However, I found some time this week so we've dusted it off and thrown out the mothballs. It still has a few kinks but we will be ironing those out over the coming weeks. So anyhow, I hope you enjoy.

Zingo's voted one of the Top 2 new
restaurants in Toledo.
A poll of Toledo City Paper reader has selected Zingo's as one of the top 2 new restaurants in Northwest Ohio. That is we were voted as number two, or the runner up but that's not bad. Zingo's joins an illustrious group of other great number 2's: Art Garfunkle, John Oates, Justin Guarini, and the guy who isn't George Michael from "Wham". All of them are number twos and they're all pretty good. Yeah, number 2 is not such a bad place to be.

It's our birthday.
It's hard to blieve that is has already been a year,
and at the same time, that it hass only been a year. All the same, we couldn't be happier with the reception we've recieved through the past twelve monthes.
